The Sent Dashboard

The Sent Dashboard is your central hub for sending messages, managing contacts, templates, generating API keys, and managing your account.

Get to know in minutes the ins and outs of the Sent Dashboard, its features, capabilities and what it can do for you.

  • You will need a Sent LogoSent account to be able to access the Sent Dashboard
    • If you don't have one, you can create yours here
    • You will receive an email with a magic verification link to verify your account

Getting Started

In order to access the full functionality of the Sent Dashboard, you will need to have completed the KYC process and set up your communication channels (SMS and WhatsApp).

If you haven't done so yet, you can follow the Getting Started tutorial to get started.

Once you have completed the KYC process and set up your communication channels, you can access the full functionality of the Sent Dashboard at https://app.sent.dm.

Dashboard features

The Sent Dashboard is a web-based platform that allows you to:

  • Have an overview of your account, messaging statistics and balance
  • Manage your contacts and templates
  • Perform number lookup and validation
  • For developers
    • A dynamic playground to interact with the Sent Public API
    • Generate and manage API keys and credentials
    • View your messaging activity and logs, including webhook interactions
  • Manage your account settings (business information, communication channels configuration)
  • Billing, balance and payments

Drag the slider to compare the dashboard before and after setup (KYC and communication channels) completion. Once you have completed the setup, you will be able to access the full functionality of the Sent Dashboard.

The Dashboard in detail

Overview Page

The Overview page is the first page you will see when you log in to your Sent Dashboard.

It gives you a quick overview of your account, messaging statistics and balance.

Templates Page

The Templates page is where you can manage your templates.

In this page, you can:

  • Create new templates (either from scratch or from sample pre-designed templates)
  • Import templates from Meta (your WhatsApp Business Account)
  • Import templates by defining the template JSON yourself
  • View templates status (draft, pending, approved, rejected)
  • Edit existing templates
  • Delete templates

Once you create a template, it will be automatically submitted for review to Meta for WhatsApp approval, but you can still send SMS messages while the template is being reviewed.

Playground Page

The Playground page is a user-friendly interface to interact with the Sent Public API to send messages. It allows you to send messages either to a contact or to a phone number using one of your templates, and track the delivery status of the message on the Activity pane.

Contacts Page

The Contacts page is where you can manage your contacts.

In this page, you can:

  • Create new contacts
  • Search for contacts and filter by contact communication channels

Number Lookup Page

The Number Lookup page is where you can perform number lookup and validation.

Activities Page

The Activities page is where you can view your messaging activities and logs.

API Keys Page

The API Keys page is where you can generate and manage your API keys and credentials.

Security reminder: NEVER share your Sender ID and API Key(s) with anyone.

💡 Quick tip: On the API Keys page in your Sent Dashboard, you can easily copy both your x-sender-id and x-api-key using the copy icon on the right of each key.

Webhooks Page

The Webhooks page is where you can manage your webhooks. Webhooks are used to receive real-time updates and events about the status of your messages.
